This is Senator Fasano's non position on the drop box. What kind of reasoning is being used here and how are we being represented. If protecting the environment and safely keeping medicines from being misused and abused is not a state and local issue, what is?
Dear Lawrence,
Senator Fasano generally doesn't take a position on an issue that is the decision of the Town and it's residents. He deals with State of CT issues and decisions and feels strongly about local autonomy.
He appreciates your interest in this public safety call for action.

Message Body: The citizens of Wallingford have been engaged in a discussion around the utility of having a Medicine Drop Box program based at the police station. Around 30 communities around Ct. have ongoing programs safely removing over a thousand pounds from the waterways and out of hands of those that could misuse them. What is your position on this program?
